Events
Our events are free and open to all who share our vision of a world in which women and girls in all our diversity are truly free to fulfil their potential. We only ask that you treat others with kindness and respect.
We are a group of volunteers, and we understand that everyone will have different schedules and commitments, so none of our events are compulsory. Our various events can be found below.
Regular Events
Monthly meeting
We meet every first Tuesday of the month in the early evening to catch up, share updates on our various ongoing projects, and discuss any new initiatives we can get behind. Our monthly meetings are online, and we often host guest speakers to share their experiences and expertise with us so can be inspired by the work of other feminists. In the past we've heard from foodies who have told us about the representation of women in the food industry, academics speaking about their work on abortion pills, activists campaigning for better menopause support in the workplace, economists explaining why women are poorer and much more!
FEL Clubs
All members are welcome to join our 📚 Book Club, 🎥 Movie Club, 🎭 Theatre Club, and 🐝 Hike Club, which you can follow on our Upcoming Events page.
Social events
We host regular in-person social events open to everyone to get together and have fun!
Working groups & project meetings
If you decide to get involved with one of our projects or campaigns, you will be welcomed into a working group that meets regularly to plan and discuss progress. You do not need any particular experience or qualifications to join a project, just an enthusiasm to get involved and a willingness to work with others. These groups are mostly coordinated via WhatsApp.
The rhythm of these groups, including the where, when, how often and purpose of these meetings is decided by each working group. We always try to take everybody's availability into account, and our projects and campaigns are set up to allow us all to work flexibly, so you are welcome to get involved even if you may not be able to attend all the meetings.
